Air Sierra Leone Adds Freetown – London Gatwick Service in late-2Q25

Air Sierra Leone this week announced service launch to London, using leased aircraft from Ascend Airways. The carrier will offer Freetown – London Gatwick service 3 times weekly with Ascend Airways 737 MAX 8 aircraft, effective 16JUN25. Operations on this route will be using Ascend Airways’ YD-coded flight numbers.

Note on the airline’s booking system, operational aircraft is listed as 787-MAX 8 in error. Screenshot below is taken as of 16APR25.
