Hong Kong Airlines 2Q25 Regional Service Reductions

Hong Kong Airlines since Monday 14APR25 gradually filed selected service changes for the second quarter of 2025, including the cancellation of 2 routes from May 2025, while reducing service on selected routes in May and June 2025.

Service reductions noted below are based on available flights for reservation as of 0700GMT 15APR25.

Hong Kong – Bangkok Suvarnabhumi 09MAY25 – 30JUN25 HX771/772 service closed for reservation (Overall reduce from up to 32 weekly to up to 25 weekly. Note additional dates also see other flights closed for reservations)
Hong Kong – Chiang Mai eff 07MAY25 Service cancelled
Hong Kong – Fukuoka 06MAY25 – 30JUN25 Reduce from 13 to 10 weekly (HX638/639 closed for bookings on Day 234)
Hong Kong – Phuket 08MAY25 – 30JUN25 Service suspended (Upon resumption on 01JUL25, service operates 6 weekly, 1 daily from 18JUL25, 4 weekly from 01SEP25, 1 daily from 22SEP25)
Hong Kong – Taichung eff 13MAY25 Service cancelled (Although schedule listing continues to show 1 daily 01JUL25 – 31AUG25, reservation is not available)

On other routes, selected dates in May and June 2025 also see certain flights not available for reservations.
