Alaska Airlines Adds Northernmost 737 MAX Scheduled Service in NS25

Alaska Airlines in recent schedule update filed operational aircraft changes on Anchorage – Utqiaġvik (Barrow) route, as the oneWorld member schedules Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft on regular basis during Northern summer 2025 season.

The 737 MAX 8 is scheduled to operate daily from 12JUN25 to 19AUG25, becoming the Northernmost Boeing 737 MAX destination served on regular scheduled basis (71°17’08N, 156°45’58W. The 737 MAX 8 served this route on 23JUL24 and 29JUL24 in 2024.

The second Northernmost Boeing 737 MAX destination is Prudhoe Bay/Deadhorse (70°11’41N, 148°27’55W), where Alaska Airlines occasionally operates Anchorage – Prudhoe Bay/Deadhorse flight with 737 MAX 9, mostly on charter basis. The regular scheduled flight on MAX 9 is available for booking for travel on 19MAR25, 26MAR25 and 21APR25.
