Qantas Expands Dash 8-Q400 Network in 1Q25

Qantas this week expanded Dash 8-Q400 operations, with additional 4 routes served by the Q400 from 17FEB25, replacing -300. Planned Dash 8-Q400 Network Additions in 1Q25 as follows.

Adelaide – Kingscote eff 17FEB25
Adelaide – Mount Gambier eff 17FEB25
Adelaide – Port Lincoln eff 17FEB25
Adelaide – Whyalla eff 17FEB25
Melbourne – Burnie eff 30MAR25

On Adelaide – Canberra route, Qantas also schedules Dash 8-Q400 aircraft during the period of 01APR25 – 17APR25.

As of 16FEB25, Qantas intends to schedule last Dash 8-300 regular service, operating from Canberra to Sydney as QF1456 on 20APR25. Further changes remain possible. Between 30MAR25 and 20APR25, Dash 8-300 is scheduled on following routes:
Sydney – Canberra
Sydney – Coffs Harbour
Sydney – Orange
Sydney – Port Macquarie
