SAS NS25 Svalbard Service Changes

SAS in the third quarter of 2025 plans to adjust service to Svalbard, based on recent schedule update, and comparison to same period in 2024.

From 26JUN25 to 08AUG25, the Skyteam member will operate 13 weekly Oslo – Longyearbyen service, increase from 9-10 weekly during the same period in 2024. The “overnight” or “midnight sun” schedule will also be offered once again during this period on Friday-Saturday.

On Tromsø – Longyearbyen route, the airline is reducing overall service from 3 to 1 weekly while peak season between 01JUL25 and 06AUG25 will be reduced from 3-4 to 2 weekly. The frequency reduction is based on comparison to similar period in 2024.
