Qantas since late-October 2024 filed service changes for Sydney – Johannesburg route, as the airline adjusts operational frequency in 2025.

During following periods, the oneWorld member schedules 5 weekly flights, instead of 6 weekly.

08MAR25 – 28MAR25 Reduce from 6 to 5 weekly (adjustment filed earlier this month)
05MAY25 – 31MAY25 Initially planned 5 weekly service unchanged
03AUG25 – 06SEP25 Initially planned 5 weekly service unchanged
07SEP25 – 11OCT25 Reduce from 6 to 5 weekly
13OCT25 – 25OCT25 Initially planned 5 weekly service unchanged
eff 26OCT25 Preliminary schedule lists 5 weekly for NW25

Between 30MAR25 and 25OCT25, the total number of one-way seats offered has been reduced from 81965 to 79055. Following schedule focuses on the period of 19AUG25 – 03OCT25.
