Virgin Australia Begins Boeing 737 MAX 8 Service From mid-July 2023

Virgin Australia this week launched Boeing 737 MAX 8 scheduled operation, initially operating domestic service. The 737 MAX on 10JUL23’s inaugural flight was Brisbane – Melbourne, VA308.

From 10JUL23 to 17JUL23, the 737 MAX 8 operates following routes:

Melbourne – Brisbane
Melbourne – Cairns
Melbourne – Sydney

The 737 MAX 8 also operated one-time flight from Sydney to Brisbane as VA943, on 10JUL23. Previously reported, Virgin Australia’s 737 MAX 8 aircraft will operate Cairns – Tokyo Haneda service from 30JUL23.
