Ethiopian Airlines Scales Back New York Service Expansion in NS23

Ethiopian Airlines this week scaled back planned service expansion to New York area, in particular Addis Ababa – Lome – Newark route. The Star Alliance carrier previously planned to offer 7 weekly flights instead of 4 from 29MAY23, this is now revised to 5 weekly, effective 03JUN23.

Boeing 787-8 operates this route.

Planned service resumption on Addis Ababa – Abidjan – New York JFK route from 29MAY23 remains unchanged, operating 4 times weekly. Overall service to New York area will now stand at 9, instead of previously planned 11.
