Wizz Air Sep 2022 – Mar 2023 Cardiff Service Changes

Wizz Air UK (W9) in August 2022 announced service suspension at its Cardiff base, as the airline removed following routes for reservation between 19SEP22 and 25MAR23:

Cardiff – Alicante
Cardiff – Corfu
Cardiff – Faro
Cardiff – Irakleion
Cardiff – Larnaca
Cardiff – Palma de Mallorca
Cardiff – Tenerife South

Previously planned Wizz Air UK’s Cardiff – Sharm el Sheikh service from 01NOV22 is also removed. This route was originally scheduled to commence on 02NOV21.

Wizz Air at the launch of Northern winter 2022/23 season will be adding following new routes, operating under W6-coded flight numbers.

Cardiff – Bucharest eff 01NOV22 2 weekly A321neo
Cardiff – Milan Malpensa eff 30OCT22 2 weekly A321neo

With recent adjustment, Wizz Air will be suspending Cardiff operation on temporary basis, between 19SEP22 and 29OCT22.
