Air New Zealand NW22 Cook Islands Frequency Adjustment

Air New Zealand last week filed Northern winter 2022/23 schedule for service to Cook Islands, where it plans additional flights between 30OCT22 and 28JAN23. During this period, Auckland – Rarotonga route is served 10 times per week, instead of previously filed 7 weekly (default schedule listing). This route is operated by a mix of Airbus A320neo, A321neo and Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

Also part of last week’s schedule update, the airline has removed Auckland – Rarotonga – Los Angeles schedule listing on/after 30OCT22, including all dates in 2023, although reservation was never opened. Los Angeles was Cook Island’s sole link to North America prior to pandemic.
