Alaska Airlines Tentatively Plans All-Jet Service to Canada by 1Q23

Alaska Airlines since the week of 25JUL22 filed aircraft changes to Canada, as the airline intends to move to all-Jet service (Embraer E175) by January 2023 at earliest, replacing Dash 8-Q400 aircraft.

Seattle – Vancouver

Alaska Airlines already operates Horizon Embraer E175 on Seattle – Calgary (2 daily) and Seattle – Edmonton (1 daily) route. Upon service resumption on 16MAR23 at earliest, the carrier’s Portland OR – Vancouver is to be operated by Skywest Embraer E175 aircraft.
