Wizz Air Adds Leased Boeing 737 Aircraft in 3Q22

Wizz Air since late-June 2022 added Boeing 737-800 aircraft to support its operation at Sofia. The aircraft is leased from Ukraine’s SkyUp Airlines, registration UR-SQO.

Based on information listed on Flightradar 24, the 737-800 operated first flight for Wizz Air on 30JUN22 on Sofia – Larnaca route, W64437/4438. Up to 10AUG22, it has been operating the 737 aircraft on following routes:

Sofia – Barcelona
Sofia – Bologna
Sofia – Brussels South Charleroi
Sofia – Copenhagen
Sofia – Dortmund
Sofia – Geneva
Sofia – Larnaca
Sofia – Memmingen
Sofia – Nice
Sofia – Paris Beauvais
Sofia – Rome Ciampino
Sofia – Valencia
Memmingen – Plovdiv

The lease of the Boeing 737 is scheduled at least until September 2022. The 737 may also be assigned on other Wizz Air’s service to/from Sofia not listed above.
