Alaska Airlines Upgauge Alaska Panhandle Milk Run Aircraft From June 2022

Alaska Airlines from mid-June 2022 plans to increase capacity on Alaska Panhandle milk run service, as 124-seater 737-700 being replaced by 159-seater 737-800 and 178-seater 737-900ER on certain directions. Based on schedule listing, the -800 is scheduled to mid-Nov 2022, while the airline intends to switch to larger -900ER from the same time.

Certain routing or sectors for Alaska Panhandle milk run service also scheduled with 737-800/-900ER may be omitted from the list below.

Anchorage – Juneau – Petersburg – Wrangell – Ketchikan – Seattle 737-700 replaced by following aircraft on southbound flight

18NOV22 – 04JAN23 737-900ER (J16Y162; Anchorage – Juneau sector 737-800)

Seattle – Ketchikan – Sitka – Juneau 737-700 replaced by following aircraft on northbound flight
