Delta and United this month filed service changes to South Africa for Northern winter 2025/26 season, as both carriers moves operational frequencies from Johannesburg to Cape Town.

Newark – Cape Town eff 26OCT25 Increase from 3 to 4 weekly, 787-9

UA2222 CPT2050 – 0550+1EWR 789 x257

Newark – Johannesburg eff 26OCT25 Reduce from 7 to 6 weekly, 787-9

The carrier will continue to operate 3 weekly Washington Dulles – Cape Town flights with 787-9.
