Air Canada Extends Mono-class 737 MAX Service to mid-3Q25

Air Canada in last week’s schedule update extended 189-seater 737 MAX 8 aircraft operation into Northern summer 2025 season, as the airline filed planned service between May and August 2025. Previously reported, the mono-class aircraft will enter service from April 2025.

Planned 189-seater operational routes include the following, as of 23MAR25.

Toronto – Fredericton 02APR25 – 31AUG25 (2 daily by 01JUL25)
Toronto – Halifax 04JUN25 – 30JUN25 (Mono-class not operating 14APR25 – 30MAY25)
Toronto – Moncton 02APR25 – 31AUG25 (3 daily by 01JUL25)
Toronto – Quebec City 05APR25 – 28APR25
Toronto – St. John’s NFLD 03MAY25 – 31AUG25
Toronto – Thunder Bay 05APR25 – 31AUG25 (3 daily by 01JUL25)
