Star Alliance member Air China from March 2025 is adjusting service on Beijing Capital – Washington Dulles route. From 04MAR25, the two weekly flights will be served as nonstop terminator in both directions, replacing existing Beijing – Washington – Los Angeles – Beijing routing.

From 11MAR25, the carrier will resume Boeing 747-8I service on this route, replacing 777-300ER. Following schedule is effective 01APR25.

As Air China begins 747-8I service to Washington Dulles, the carrier previously filed 747-8I service to Frankfurt on 2 of 17 weekly flights from April 2025, has been removed.
