Icelandair Expands Nuuk Capacity From late-Dec 2024

Icelandair from late-December 2024 plans to expand capacity on Reykjavik Keflavik – Nuuk service, currently scheduled with Dash 8-200 aircraft. From 27DEC24, the airline plans to operate Dash8-Q400 aircraft on this route twice weekly, with overall seat capacity increases from 37 to 76 per flight.

The airline on 29NOV24 operated one-time Dash 8-Q400 aircraft on this route. The Q400 aircraft operation will be maintained during summer season from 30MAR25. Previously reported on AeroRoutes, the carrier during Northern summer 2025 season plans to expand capacity on this route, with the scheduling of 737 MAX 8 aircraft from 02JUN25 to 24OCT25.
