Air India (AI) during the month of November 2024 is adjusting operations on selected long-haul service, as the carrier begins utilizing Vistara (UK) 787-9 aircraft on Air India flights under 3-digit flight numbers. In return, selected routes served by Vistara aircraft under Air India 4-digit flight numbers will see Air India 787-8 operating.

Additional changes on mixed operation can be expected in the next few weeks.

Delhi – Frankfurt 12NOV24 – 31DEC24 AI121/122 UK 787-9 replaces AI 787-8
Delhi – Paris Charles de Gaulle 13NOV24 – 30NOV24 AI143/144 UK 787-9 replaces AI 787-8

Separately, AI since 01NOV24 consolidated Delhi – Hong Kong service, as Air India mainline (AI314/315) service cancelled between 01NOV24 and 29MAR25, as of 10NOV24. Vistara A321neo continues to operate this route once a day.
