Austrian NS25 Long-Haul Widebody Service Changes – 03NOV24

Austrian Airlines in last week’s schedule update filed various changes to its intercontinental network service for Northern summer 2025 season, effective 30MAR25. Based on schedule comparison 25AUG24 vs 03NOV24, planned changes include the following.

Vienna – Boston
eff 30MAR25 Reduce from initially filed 6 weekly to 3 weekly (This route was served 5-6 weekly in NS24)
eff 01SEP25 777-200ER replaces 767-300ER

Vienna – Chicago O'Hare
30MAR25 – 14OCT25 787-9 replaces initially field 777-200ER, 6 weekly scheduled for entire season (Previously planned 1 daily from 29APR25 is no longer in effect. This route was originally scheduled with 787-9 from 29APR25)
eff 16OCT25 Reduce from 6 to 5 weekly, 777-200ER replaces 787-9

Vienna – Los Angeles Seasonal service operates from 29APR25 unchanged. Revised from initially filed 6 weekly 777-200ER to following
