Thai VietJet Air from December 2024 plans to expand service to Japan, as the airline schedules new service to Sapporo via Taipei. Planned new routes addition to Japan during Northern winter 2024/25 season as follows.

Bangkok Suvarnabhumi – Taipei Taoyuan – Okinawa eff 02NOV24 Planned 1 daily A320 service unchanged. Service reduces to 4 weekly from 18DEC24
