Ethiopian Airlines Outlines Nov 2024 A350-1000XWB Operations
2nd update as of 1900GMT 07OCT24: Ethiopian Airlines during mid-day Monday (07OCT24) removed seat map listing of A350-1000XWB aircraft.

Ethiopian Airlines in November 2024 at earliest intends to launch Airbus A350-1000XWB aircraft service, based on the airline’s seat map listing, with the configuration of J46Y349. AeroRoutes on 05OCT24 first reported the service entry of the 395-seater aircraft via its threads and X feed, however it only covered London Heathrow.
As of 0715GMT 07OCT24, the Star Alliance carrier tentatively updated the seat map until 01DEC24 inclusive. Additional changes will be gradually filed. Planned A350-1000XWB operation, based on the airline’s seat map listing, as follows.
Addis Ababa – Lagos
November 2024: 02, 05, 06, 08, 12, 13, 14 – 30
Addis Ababa – London Heathrow
November 2024: 03, 04, 07, 09, 11, 12, 14 – 30
December 2024: 01
As the airline gradually updates its schedule listing and seat maps, possibility of changes to A350-1000XWB’s first passenger flight remains high.
Previously reported on AeroRoutes’ threads and X feed on 23JUN24, the Star Alliance member is displaying Staggered seating for its Airbus A350-900XWB aircraft’s Cloud Nine (Business) Class, effective 27OCT24. The staggered seating on the -900XWB has already entered service on Addis Ababa – Washington Dulles (westbound via Rome Fiumicino), while the week of 27OCT24 will see the new configuration serving Addis Ababa – Milan Malpensa on certain days.
