Air India Express in September 2024 plans to add service to Bangladesh, as the airline intends to add service to Dhaka, from both Chennai and Kolkata. Planned operations include the following.

Chennai – Dhaka eff 03SEP24 6 weekly A320
IX644 MAA1900 – 2210DAC 320 x1
IX643 DAC1430 – 1650MAA 320 x1

Kolkata – Dhaka eff 03SEP24 6 weekly A320
IX594 CCU1155 – 1330DAC 320 x1
IX593 DAC2310 – 2345CCU 320 x1
