Malaysia Airlines Moves Forward A330neo Auckland Service to late-Dec 2024

Malaysia Airlines in this week's schedule update intends to accelerate planned Airbus A330-900neo service to New Zealand. Planned A330neo service on Kuala Lumpur – Auckland route is now scheduled to commence on 30DEC24 at earliest, 3 months earlier than planned.

Initially the A330neo is scheduled to operate on 4 of 8 weekly flights, while all 8 weekly flights will be operated by the new A330 variant from 28JAN25. As of 1000GMT 24JUL24, only Kuala Lumpur departure is filed with A330neo. The inbound aircraft discrepancy will be adjusted soon.
