Myanmar Airways International (MAI) in late-June 2024 launched service to Laos, which saw the inaugural of Yangon – Vientiane route on 25JUN24. The airline's Embraer E190 aircraft operates this route twice weekly, with selected dates scheduled with Airbus A319.
