Korean Air 2H24 Europe Service Reductions: Last Barcelona Service in Sep 2024

Korean Air today (14FEB24) filed service changes on Seoul Incheon – Barcelona route, with last flight scheduled on 02SEP24. The Skyteam member's Northern summer season schedules 4 weekly with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with following schedule.

Reservation for travel on/after 04SEP24 is closed for all future dates, in a bulletin issued by the airline. Separately, the carrier is reducing service on selected European routes between August and October 2024:

Seoul Incheon – Frankfurt 03OCT24 – 26OCT24 Reduce from 7 to 4 weekly
Seoul Incheon – Paris Charles de Gaulle 01OCT24 – 26OCT24 Reduce from 7 to 6 weekly
Seoul Incheon – Rome Fiumicino 01AUG24 – 26OCT24 Reduce from 7 to 4 weekly

Including Barcelona, the airline’s genetic reason states “supply and demand control”.
