JAL Schedules A350-1000XWB New York Debut in late-Jan 2024

Japan Airlines today (11DEC23) announced its planned Airbus A350-1000XWB operation, scheduled to debut on 24JAN24 on Tokyo Haneda – New York JFK route. Initially the A350 operates on JL006/005 on alternating days, expanding to daily service when the carrier receives 2nd aircraft sometimes in the first quarter of 2024.

Schedule below is effective 24JAN24 – 09MAR24.

Reservations on the A350 service on/after 31MAR24 will be available by 20DEC23 at earliest, the airline stated. The airline also disclosed Dallas/Ft. Worth as its 2nd A350-1000XWB destination, although there is no specified dates on service entry.
