Southwest NS24 Florida International Network Changes

Southwest Airlines from June 2024 is introducing 6 international routes at Orlando, replacing existing service to/from Fort Lauderdale. Announced by the airline in late-October 2023, planned international network expansion for Orlando includes the following.

Orlando – Cancun eff 04JUN24 1 daily 737 MAX 8/-700
Orlando – Grand Cayman eff 04JUN24 1 daily 737-700
Orlando – Nassau
eff 04JUN24 1 daily 737-700
Orlando – Providenciales
eff 04JUN24 1 daily 737-700
Orlando – Punta Cana
eff 04JUN24 1 daily 737 MAX 8/-800
Orlando – San Jose (Costa Rica)
eff 04JUN24 1 daily 737-700/MAX 8

These routes are in addition to existing service:
Orlando – Aruba
Orlando – Montego Bay
Orlando – San Juan

Southwest Airlines will continue to offer following international service at Fort Lauderdale:
Fort Lauderdale – Havana
Fort Lauderdale – Montego Bay
Fort Lauderdale – San Juan
