Icelandair Resumes Faroe Islands Service From May 2024

Icelandair in 2024 plans to resume operations to Faroe Islands, as the airline resumes Reykjavik Keflavik – Vágar/Faroe Islands route. From 01MAY24, the airline to operate this route 5 times weekly (up to 6 weekly during peak season), with Dash 8-Q400 aircraft.

The airline previously served Faroe Islands until August 1996. It previously operated Reykjavik (RKV) – Vágar/Faroe Islands flight, with certain service extended to Glasgow.
