Etihad Airways from June 2023 plans to consolidate service to Sri Lanka and The Maldives, as the airline to operate Abu Dhabi – Male – Colombo routing, on board Boeing 787-9/-10 Dreamliner. The combined operation will begin on 01JUN23. Colombo is currently served nonstop with Airbus A320.
