Indian carrier Akasa Air since late-February 2023 commenced service to Varanasi, offering 1 daily Bangalore – Varanasi route on 18FEB23. This route has since increased to 2 daily, from 01MAR23. Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft operates this route.
