Austrian Airlines from May 2023 plans to resume service to Iran, where it once again operates Vienna – Tehran Imam Khomeini route, on board Airbus A320 aircraft. Upon service resumption on 11MAY23, the Star Alliance carrier will operate 6 weekly flights.
