Thai AirAsia X in late-March 2023 plans to resume service to Shanghai, as the airline schedules Bangkok Suvarnabhumi – Shanghai Pu Dong flights. The carrier previously operated from Bangkok Don Mueang until 2020.

The airline schedules 1 flight on 25MAR23, followed by 4 weekly service from 04APR23.
