Turkish Airlines in last week’s schedule update filed selected changes to its planned operation to West Africa for Northern summer 2023 season. Planned adjustment as follows.
Istanbul – Cotonou – Abidjan – Istanbul Reduce from 5 to 4 weekly, 737 MAX 8 (Overall service for Abidjan and Cotonou reduces from 7 to 6 weekly)
Istanbul – Ouagadougou – Conakry Reduce from 3 to 2 weekly, A330-200/737 MAX 8 operating
Previously reported changes for West Africa:
Istanbul – Dakar eff 26MAR23 Increase from 5 to 7 weekly, service consolidates to nonstop terminator flight with A330-200
Istanbul – Nouakchott – Banjul – Istanbul eff 26MAR23 Nouakchott and Banjul service that currently operates via Dakar will become triangle routing, 3 weekly A330-200 (Nouakchott overall increases from 5 to 6 weekly)
Istanbul – Port Harcourt – Malabo – Istanbul Planned 3 weekly 737 MAX 8 from 27MAR23 removed
