Qantas NS23 Intercontinental Network Adjustment – 20OCT22

Qantas this week filed additional update to its planned Northern summer 2023 intercontinental operation, effective 26MAR23. As of 20OCT22, latest adjustment as follows.

Melbourne – Dallas/Ft. Worth eff 26MAR23 787-9 continues to operate 3 weekly. Planned increase to 4 weekly removed
Melbourne – Los Angeles
eff 26MAR23 787-9 continues to operate 1 daily, replacing previously filed 6 weekly A380 and 1 weekly 787-9
Melbourne – Singapore eff 27MAR23 Previously filed increase from 7 to 13 weekly has been revised to 10 weekly. Operational aircraft changes:
QF035/036 1 daily A330-200 (selected dates -300; 787-9 from 19JUN23. The 787 was previously scheduled as QF037/038)
QF037/038 3 weekly A330-200 (selected dates -300)

Melbourne – Tokyo Haneda eff 26MAR23 Planned service resumption (for Tokyo) unchanged, 4 weekly A330-300
Sydney – Johannesburg
eff 20JUN23 Increase from 6 to 7 weekly, 787-9 (Previous: eff 26MAR23)
Sydney – Los Angeles eff 26MAR23 Increase from previously filed 7 to 8 weekly (7 weekly A380, 1 weekly 787-9. Overall A380 service increase from 6 to 7 weekly unchanged)
Sydney – San Francisco
Planned service resumption moved to 22MAY23, 4 weekly 787-9 (As of 21OCT22, this has been revised to 3 weekly)
Sydney – Santiago de Chile 01APR23 – 18MAY23 Reduce from 4 to 3 weekly, 787-9
Sydney – Shanghai Pu Dong Service listed as 1 daily A330-300, reservation only available in J/Y-class fare

Previously reported adjustment remains unchanged:
Perth – Jakarta Reservation in NS23 remains closed
Perth – Johannesburg Reservation in NS23 remains closed
