Air New Zealand in late-September 2022 filed changes to its planned debut of 217-seater Airbus A321neo service. Previously scheduled on 28OCT22, the 217-seater domestic aircraft is now scheduled to operate from 05NOV22.

Initially on 05NOV22, the 217-seater will operate Auckland – Queenstown NZ635/616 and NZ623/626 service. The 217-seater will be mainly operating on this route, as well as:

Auckland – Christchurch eff 04DEC22, selected flights only
Auckland – Wellington eff 07NOV22
