United NW22 East Asia / Oceania Service Update – 14SEP22

In a rare move, United Airlines this week filed schedule update for East Asia, Micronesia and Oceania for Northern winter 2022/23 season during the mid-week, instead of weekends. Latest service adjustment as of 14SEP22 for service between 29OCT22 and 24MAR23 as follows.

Following routes has been removed until 03JAN23 inclusive:
Denver – Tokyo Narita
Los Angeles – Tokyo Haneda
Newark – Tokyo Haneda
San Francisco – Hong Kong
San Francisco – Osaka Kansai

Following routes has been removed until 24MAR23 inclusive:
Chicago O’Hare – Beijing Capital
Chicago O’Hare – Shanghai Pu Dong
Honolulu – Tokyo Narita
Los Angeles – Shanghai Pu Dong
Newark – Beijing Capital
Newark – Hong Kong
Newark – Shanghai Pu Dong
San Francisco – Beijing Capital
San Francisco – Chengdu
San Francisco – Shanghai Pu Dong (Service replaced by 4 weekly 1-stop service via Seoul Incheon)
Washington Dulles – Beijing Capital

The following is Micronesia operation for Northern winter 2022/23 season, which includes FSM (Federated States of Micronesia) as well as Marshall Islands. Service between Guam and Japan is listed until 12DEC22, as planned frequency remains pending on/after 13DEC22.

Guam – Chuuk – Pohnpei – Kosrae – Kwajalein – Majuro – Honolulu 2nd weekly flight tentatively to resume on Friday-Saturday from 16DEC22 (Monday-Tuesday UA155/154 service unchanged, with 737-800)
Guam – Chuuk – Pohnpei – Majuro – Honolulu 1 weekly 737-800 operating as UA133/132 will continue to operate on Wednesday-Thursday, instead of Sunday-Monday

Separately, United during the weekend of 09SEP22’s schedule update adjusted planned Newark – London Heathrow service, where the airline continues to operate 6 daily flights (reduced from 7 to 6 daily since 09JUL22) during Northern winter 2022/23 season until 25MAR23. Planned 1 of 6 daily flight with 777-200ER instead of 767-300ER remains unchanged.
