WestJet NW22 Network Changes: Vancouver – Penticton Feb 2023 Launch

WestJet on Monday 08AUG22 announced service launch on Vancouver – Penticton route, scheduled to commence on 17FEB23. AeroRoutes previously reported this route on 09JUN22, although at the time the suggested launch date was 30APR23, based on OAG and GDS schedule listing.
This route will be served 6 times weekly, with Pacific Coastal Saab 340 aircraft as WestJet Link.

During the weekend of 07AUG22’s schedule update, the airline filed domestic network adjustment for Northern winter 2022/23 season. Following routes will be suspended in winter season:

Vancouver – Regina 31OCT22 – 29JUN23 (Previously scheduled to resume 31OCT22. Limited service offered 17DEC22 – 07JAN23, 3 weekly)
Vancouver – Saskatoon 31OCT22 – 02MAY23 (Limited service offered 16DEC22 – 06JAN23, 3 weekly)
Various frequency adjustment on domestic markets will appear on AeroRoutes in the next few days.
In addition, the airline is resuming Edmonton – Nanaimo service from 30OCT22, 3 weekly Dash 8-Q400 (2 weekly 05DEC22 – 23DEC22, 02JAN23 – 02APR23). This route was last served until September 2021.
