Air Canada in late-May 2022 filed first schedule update for Northern winter 2022/23 season. Previously not highlighted on AeroRoutes, the Star Alliance carrier is reducing service between Western Canada and Mexico. Planned frequency variation from mid-December 2022, based on schedule comparison 15MAY22 vs 24JUL22, as follows.

Calgary – Cancun Reduce from 7 to 4 weekly
Calgary – Puerto Vallarta Reduce from 4 to 3 weekly
Vancouver – Cancun Reduce from 7 to 4 weekly
Vancouver – Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo Reduce from 4 to 1 weekly
Vancouver – Los Cabos Reduce from 6 to 3 weekly
Vancouver – Puerto Vallarta Reduce from 6 to 3 weekly
