Korean Air Resumes A380 Tokyo Service From Sep 2022

Korean Air on Wednesday 06JUL22 filed schedule changes for Seoul Incheon – Tokyo Narita route, featuring the return of Airbus A380 aircraft. From 01SEP22 to 29OCT22, the A380 will operate daily KE703/704 service, instead of Airbus A330-300/777-200ER.
Also filed on Wednesday, the Skyteam member opened reservation for KE705/706 between 01SEP22 and 29OCT22, scheduled 3 weekly with 737-900ER. Overall service during this period is scheduled as 10 weekly, despite timetable lists 14.

Korean Air previously operated A380 aircraft to Tokyo Narita on regular basis between June 2011 and February 2012, as well as between October 2012 and January 2013.
On Seoul Gimpo – Tokyo Haneda route, the airline will continue to operate widebody aircraft for the month of August 2022. A330-200 operates 2 weekly, instead of previously filed 737 MAX 8.
