PLAY Removes Orlando / 214-seater A321neo Schedules

Icelandic carrier PLAY in recent schedule update revised its planned operation, including the removal of its planned 214-seater Airbus A321neo aircraft service. The airline up to 22MAY22 filed following 214-seater aircraft service between June and October 2022:

Reykjavik Keflavik – Alicante
Reykjavik Keflavik – Barcelona
Reykjavik Keflavik – Bologna
Reykjavik Keflavik – Dublin
Reykjavik Keflavik – Lisbon
Reykjavik Keflavik – London Stansted
Reykjavik Keflavik – Madrid
Reykjavik Keflavik – Malaga
Reykjavik Keflavik – Orlando
Reykjavik Keflavik – Palma de Mallorca
Reykjavik Keflavik – Paris CDG
Reykjavik Keflavik – Tenerife South

Due to the revised planning, the airline’s planned service launch on Reykjavik Keflavik – Orlando route from 30SEP22, is also removed. The airline previously planned 3 weekly flights. The airline’s Northern winter 2022/23 schedule from 30OCT22 continues to list 214-seater A321neo service on Reykjavik Keflavik – London Stansted route (4 weekly round-trip) from 30OCT22, this is likely to change in the next few months.
