WestJet NS22 International Operation Update - 10APR22

WestJet in March 2022 filed changes to its planned international network, mostly focusing on frequency adjustment. The carrier’s Northern summer 2022 season operation sees the addition of several new routes, including some previously scheduled to commence in 2020.

Note the frequency changes comparison is based on OAG schedules filing 20FEB22 vs 10APR22, using the week of 17JUL22 as general indicator for peak season between 01JUN22 and 06SEP22.

Calgary – London Gatwick Frequency variation, instead of 7 weekly from 01MAY22 for entire summer season

WestJet in 2020 originally scheduled Halifax – Manchester 4 weekly flights, this route wasn’t launched due to pandemic. Along with Calgary – Amsterdam, briefly served in summer 2021, both routes were not listed in initial Northern summer 2022 default schedule filing.
